Sir Gawain and the Green knight

On New Year’s Eve, a mysterious Green Knight challenges the famous Knights of the Round Table: anyone who agrees to cut off the head of the Green Knight with his axe, will in return have to suffer the same fate in a year and a day. Then Sire Gauvain accepts the challenge. But to everyone’s surprise, once he is decapitated, the Green Knight rises, recovers his head and reminds Gauvain of his promise. The adventures towards his doom, will test the honor of Gauvain, considered as the most perfect of the Knights of the Round Table.
Claudine Glot is one of the founders of the Centre de l’Imaginaire Arthurien in Brittany, France. She runs several Broceliande forest-themed activities: exhibitions, guided tours, lectures.
